There's always surprises on trips to new and long-ago visited places, even here in Texas where I was born and raised. One of the most pleasant in quite awhile was the sunset sky over a previously unknown (to us) city park in Fredericksburg. Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park was a last minute opportunity to see what looked like a promising sky for the day's sunset, and even without benefit of a raised platform or small hill, we witnessed a gorgeous horizon-wide sunset.
