Also please note, this is a detail crop from the larger original image here on Fine Art America, "Sunrise Over Malletts Bay Panorama - Nine v2." As with most of my variations and detail-image-crops, I have made some manual creative adjusments and touches to make the new image work better in its new format.
Related to both my images already available on Fine Art America (Break Of Light Malletts Bay Vt & First Frost Of Fall Malletts Bay Vt ) this series expands on the first frosty morning mid September in Vermont.
I’d felt myself continually going back to view these images, one of my last mornings in Vermont before returning back to Texas, and realized many of them were worthy of being organized and also offered here at Fine Art America. They may even be tempting for folks wanting a series of related sunrise or boating images. Either way I hope you enjoy them as much as I did seeing this amazing day rise that morning,
The view is focussed on the portion of the bay where most of the boats are anchored, is looking eastward, away from the anhored boats, across the wider waters toward the mountains.
Following is my description for the two images listed above: I first visited Malletts Bay with my wife and our children in the early 80s, and since 2011 have usually stopped by to eat at one of several cafe restaurants nearby. About two weeks ago (mid Sep 2016), after discovering a small park aptly named Bayside Park, I returned at sunrise at the years first returning cool morning and caught a series of 40 degree images I really liked. Being able to see my breath (before returning to 100 degree heat in Texas) and holding a hot cup of coffee in my hands were the was the perfect icing to these images (smiles).

John, thank you so much for featuring my picture from Vermont in your Fine Art America art group, "Images That Excite You!" - that's exactly how I felt as I chose the borders for this detail (from the original) then discovered all the neat details along the shore and water, thanks! :)

The series is glorious...I feel the cold air and the hot coffee. l/f!
Felipe Adan Lerma replied:
Awww, thank you, Jenny! I had such a great time just being there seeing the morning unfold, and the coffee was definitely a big part, lol!

Absolutely sensational, Felipe!!
Felipe Adan Lerma replied:
Lisa, thank you! I just had to crop out this detail "look" from the larger version :)
Sarah Loft
Beautiful! Nice colors-- has a vintage feel.
Felipe Adan Lerma replied:
Thanks, Sarah! My wife (from Vermont) was just looking at this and felt the same way! And there is something about the Vermont life with (for a city guy like me) a strong wonderful vintage-ness to it I love (smiles).
