Related to both my images already available on Fine Art America (Break Of Light Mallets Bay Vt & First Frost Of Fall Mallets Bay Vt ) this series expands on the first frosty morning mid September in Vermont. And though this image is similar to One and Two in the series, this is not a filter application changing the color of the sky and reflection on the water, this was the sunrise changing the sky itself before becoming blue - I was very amazed!
I’d felt myself continually going back to view these images, one of my last mornings in Vermont before returning back to Texas, and realized many of them were worthy of being organized and also offered here at Fine Art America. ©Felipe Adan Lerma - now in my early 70s, I've begun to blend aspects of my art I thought each decade I'd left behind - from my acrylic abstracts & figures in the 1980s, to my impressionist oils of the 2000s to my beginner blends of watercolors from 2019 -- now I enjoy sometimes mixing watercolors into my acrylics, discovering the new mediums and pastes and colors of acrylics, and blending abstract with impressionistic with surrealism.
