Four similar but distinctly useable versions are available: a panorama, a much thinner version I call a horizon line print, a square, and a greeting card version using the horizon line image.
South Hero is a relatively large island kitty-corner across Lake Champlain from where we usually stay in Burlington Vermont.
Though Burlington itself seems peaceful and quiet compared to here in Austin, there is definitely an even more relaxed aura about both South and North Hero Islands.
The water seems to flow more calmly and in sheets of soft colors. Not always of course, but a lot. There’s lots of shoreline circling the island and this south/southwest facing view combines that calmness with views of distant mountains.
