Nothing quite like a virtual whirlwind shift from working on tropical pura vida Costa Rican images, then focusing on winter in Vermont (smiles).

In this case, with this and the two previous images, both from Waterfront Park, there's also a shift from shadows as clearly visible as the lit spaces among them, to a softened oneness of nature and architecture. There's less bright sun and contrasting clouds, and the scene - late afternoon - is more settled. Comfortable, though in differing ways than my most recently uploaded sunsets in Costa Rica.

It's this variance, with naturally occurring similarities beneath it all, that gives me hope and a lift about life. Nature is so splendid in so many ways, and is still always nature.
