When my wife and I stayed in Paris the fall of 2011 for a few weeks, we would take day and half-day long walks exploring routes to museums and places like the Eiffel Tower.
This image of evening traffic, the light shimmer-fading behind the Eiffel Tower, was the end result of an aborted bus trip to get discounted bus tickets at a city tourist spot just north of the Tuileries. After lunch at a small cafe, we walked about the Louve’s palace grounds on the park’s side, went to the pond across from the giant ferris wheel, then visited the Orangerie Museum to see Monet’s giant water lily panels. There we also discovered some wonderful Renoirs, including one of the many versions of the two girls playing a piano.
Place de la Concorde was adjacent, but I stayed on the park side of the busy road and caught this moment of Parisian beauty, even in the midst of rush hour (smiles).
More of my Paris imagery can be seen in my Paris collection at Fine Art America - http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/felipeadan-lerma.html?tab=artworkgalleries&artworkgalleryid=642805 .
More of my panoramic vistas, from among all my work, are in this collection : https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/felipeadan-lerma.html?tab=artworkgalleries&artworkgalleryid=687132 .

Sarah Loft - yes, cropped this way it does seem that way, but believe me, much shorter duration of traffic density - plus the contraflow routes are almost empty; but def gets crowded in places :)
