Community Church Stowe Vermont is based on a photo I took last summer (2017) when my wife and I visited her home state. My oil painting rendition joins artwork from other US Veterans May thru June at an Artist Veterans Art show at Jerry’s Artarama here in Austin - FB page: https://www.facebook.com/JerrysAustin/ .
One of my softer renditions, the soft edges and pale rendering reflect not only the morning’s low clouds and patchy fog, but also the church’s station in Stowe as a highly visible beacon of light.
Visible from multiple vantage points surrounding the village, it anchors one’s perspective and location in this gorgeous New England state (smiles).
