Artist's Description
This macro crop of a larger version, Bicycle View, was partly inspired by one of the unique facets of the artist groups here at Fine Art America: contests and opportunities to create to a theme. Choosing my composition cut proved much trickier than I'd expected, but it was a happy challenge I thoroughly enjoyed (smiles). Next is my description-text from the full size image (large view of Lake Champlain - smiles). Between Leddy Park and the Winooski River bridge, steps away off Burlington Vermont's Bike Path, scenic outlooks provide vistas over Lake Champlain. Needless to say, I was more than glad to take the break (smiles). And as the Bike Path itself extends miles beyond the two points above, hopefully - as I upload more pictures from this biking & pedestrian treasure - I'll have enough images for a Bike Path Gallery :)
About Felipe Adan Lerma
©Felipe Adan Lerma - now in my early 70s, I've begun to blend aspects of my art I thought each decade I'd left behind - from my acrylic abstracts & figures in the 1980s, to my impressionist oils of the 2000s to my beginner blends of watercolors from 2019 -- now I enjoy sometimes mixing watercolors into my acrylics, discovering the new mediums and pastes and colors of acrylics, and blending abstract with impressionistic with surrealism. Sometimes simply creating color blocks woven in textures thick enough to see online. My work today, I'd say, offers both fine art collectibles and interior design. Occasionally, a work encompassing both. For blog posts about my art, please visit - https://www.FelipeAdanLerma.com -- thank you so much for...

I like the light and shadows dance in this photo! :) L/F
Felipe Adan Lerma replied:
The bicycle spokes and fence railings seemed to just play with the light! Thank you, Mioara (smiles).
