This is Austin Texas mid-morning. Lady Bird Lake (formerly Town Lake) in Austin in spring is lush with reflections and fresh green borders. The raised railroad tressel and train are colorful contrasts to the shimmered water below.
About Felipe Adan Lerma
©Felipe Adan Lerma - now in my early 70s, I've begun to blend aspects of my art I thought each decade I'd left behind - from my acrylic abstracts & figures in the 1980s, to my impressionist oils of the 2000s to my beginner blends of watercolors from 2019 -- now I enjoy sometimes mixing watercolors into my acrylics, discovering the new mediums and pastes and colors of acrylics, and blending abstract with impressionistic with surrealism. Sometimes simply creating color blocks woven in textures thick enough to see online. My work today, I'd say, offers both fine art collectibles and interior design. Occasionally, a work encompassing both. For blog posts about my art, please visit - https://www.FelipeAdanLerma.com -- thank you so much for...

Fantastic composition Felipe, I love trains and love to photograph them as you never know when one will show up!...fav/like
Felipe Adan Lerma replied:
So very true, Donna. I've a fav pic of our 3 yr old grandson turned to face us, pointing excitedly up toward a train on this same spot (different day). He'd kept looking at the train & I'd kept hollering to him to look at me so I could get his picture. I got very lucky! Thanks, Donna (smiles).
Rafael Salazar
Beautiful clear sky as a background of a classic scene in the middle of USA. Good ol' Times. L/F
Felipe Adan Lerma replied:
Rafael, it does seem to have that feel- classic middle of USA, glad you pointed it out. Austin does like to think of itself as "keeping Weird" - but it still is in the southern mid-west :)
