One of many favorite spots near where my wife Sheila and I stayed in Paris a few years back. Art, life, and beauty was almost everywhere I went. East we could head down Rue Saint Andre des Arts to several preferred groceries; north led to Place Saint Michel, the Seine and Notre Dame, and west meandered into the Latin Quarter. South was back to our apartment then further to Luxembourg Gardens. What's funny about this image is Sheila and I tried half a dozen variations where we straightened the perspective, and none were as interesting to us as this initial original take (smiles). An image-only version without a color border and text is also available.
©Felipe Adan Lerma - now in my early 70s, I've begun to blend aspects of my art I thought each decade I'd left behind - from my acrylic abstracts & figures in the 1980s, to my impressionist oils of the 2000s to my beginner blends of watercolors from 2019 -- now I enjoy sometimes mixing watercolors into my acrylics, discovering the new mediums and pastes and colors of acrylics, and blending abstract with impressionistic with surrealism. Sometimes simply creating color blocks woven in textures thick enough to see online. My work today, I'd say, offers both fine art collectibles and interior design. Occasionally, a work encompassing both. For blog posts about my art, please visit - https://www.FelipeAdanLerma.com -- thank you so much for...

Berta Keeney
How beautiful is this!!!
Felipe Adan Lerma replied:
Berta, so glad you like it! Gotta thank the French, took centuries to put it all up! But wouldn't be the same without the hanging pots (smiles).
Donna Kennedy
Both images are magnificent!!!...L
Felipe Adan Lerma replied:
Very glad to hear you liked both versions. I'm not even fully sure why, but sometimes I just like creating both a poster and an image version. Thank you, Donna! :)
