Winged Horse in the Sky is another of my palette knife water soluble oil paintings. It is also available on prints, posters, and assorted gift items like coffee mugs, tote bags, and yoga mats! (smiles)

Though the outline of the horse is more suggestive than my sailboats, surfer, and woman in moonlight in more recent paintings, once I “saw” the winged-like horse, set among a cloud-like array of color and form, I couldn’t “unsee” it, lol!

Arguably, I could have titled the piece without “horse” in the title, and left any images to viewers’ imaginations, I would have had to disregard the fluid flow of a winged horse in my own perception and - more importantly - satisfaction and feeling of completion. If I’d done that I don’t think I could release it because I wouldn’t have believed in it.

Complicated interior artist stuff, yes. But necessary in my sense of meaning and value creating my art :)
