Night photography, for me, is tricky, but filled with welcome surprises.
I had finished what I could of a very nice sunset evening along the waterfront of Lake Champlain in Burlington Vermont, my wife’s home state, and was headed back to my car when I spotted this wonderful view.
The onshore breeze was full on and our flag waved happily along with it. Both it and the public boathouse floating on the lake were still lit as their reflections bounced along the light chop on the waters.
The sky of course was rapidly changing from last light to night, so I was very fortunate in the timing (smiles).
