Description
Near my wife's hometown of Burlington Vermont - at least to someone raised in Texas like myself (smiles) - Stowe offers much more than winter slopes. One of those gems is a park just off Mountain Road called Thompson Park. We kept seeing it on our Google map, but couldn't find it. Finally we spotted this tiny sign (Vermont's not into big signage), turned off onto a tiny road to a small but nicely laid out parking lot surrounded by trees. A walking path led off from where we parked soon after, we found this gorgeous walking bridge. I'm offering this image both in poster and print format.

Stacie, so glad to hear that! We were very fortunate to have caught this bridge that time of day that year! Thank you! :)

It was difficult to pick one favorite autumn image but this one spoke to me. Well done!

Kathy, thanks so much - I think it's wonderful when an image reminds us of other similar places we love! (smiles)

Love your perspective of this bridge...and the fallen leaves add to it too! It reminds me of a bridge at Brainards Bridges Park in Waupaca, Wisconsin (without seeing any water underneath it). Check it out here: http://www.cityofwaupaca.org/parksnrec/?parks=brainards-bridge-park Very nice photo!

A very belated thank you to Elizabeth Dow, curator of Fine Art America artist group "New England Photograhy" as I learn my way around this amazing artist site (smiles) - it's a distinct honor, thank you, Elizabeth! :)

Thank you, Geraldine! It was quite a challenge for me, choosing the final cut, so I'm very glad you like it :)
