Glimpses - Summer Storm BW Panorama
Each image in my newest gallery collection, Glimpses, is a piece of some thing, some moment, that caught my eye.
Because this image intrigued me so much, I’ve also created a BW version plus a BW panoramic take to go with the monochrome original :)
Sometimes I knew right away what part - if not the whole - of the image I wanted to show and offer here at Fine Art America. Other times it took a few looks to get the boundaries and edges to start and end where I wanted and felt them to be.
Minimal post-processing is used, though I don’t refrain from adjustments if I see a clear way to enhance the image. But the mere fact that “something” immediately appealed to me to begin with usually means the story and feeling of the moment were already there (smiles).

This fleeting moment appeared to me as I drove up back home from an early morning grocery run.
Though not processed or shot in BW, the images comes across as almost that way, both in tones and that sense of power black and white imagery sometimes carries.
Considering temps eventually rose past 100 today, the southerly winds did indeed power some much appreciated, if brief, cloud cover today (smiles).
