Glimpses - Reflections in Reality

Each image in my newest gallery collection, Glimpses, is a piece of some thing, some moment, that caught my eye.

Because this image intrigued me so much, I’ve also created a BW version plus a BW panoramic take to go with the monochrome original :)

Sometimes I knew right away what part - if not the whole - of the image I wanted to show and offer here at Fine Art America. Other times it took a few looks to get the boundaries and edges to start and end where I wanted and felt them to be.

Minimal post-processing is used, though I don’t refrain from adjustments if I see a clear way to enhance the image. But the mere fact that “something” immediately appealed to me to begin with usually means the story and feeling of the moment were already there (smiles).

Captured during a weekend 4th of July celebration at a friend’s house in the near Hill Country outside Austin, Ioved the last light shimmers and reflections before it was time for the fire works. The wine glass in the foreground was a nice bonus (smiles).
