Third of my recent series of 8x10 floral watercolors, abstracted like the others, but focused on one bloom. There’s things I like about it, and things I might try and vary one day, but am very glad I ventured into the unknown-ness of this. The contrasts to the background created a special detachment I really liked, thus the “floating” in the title 😊
