Some image stick with me more than others in terms of variations I create with them, and “Birds at Plfuger Bridge Austin” is one of them. From the original photo to this oil painting interpretation, all variations have been posted here at Fine Art America.
Though I have and have taken many moments of a bird or birds on a lamppost or tree limb, this particular moment, with the sky in skew, and the variety of “poses” taken by the birds, is just plain one of my favorites. Add in that Pfluger Bridge is directly off the Austin Hike & Bike Path, and this was during a developing sunset, and I just wasn’t able t resist “playing” with this image :)
