Birds 3 (3 variations of the same image, and later - a series of square color variations suitable for color schemes in offices and hosptials) continues my opening of an extended series of images featuring parks and rivers, birds and people, bridges and more, from inside Austin Texas. Other series besides “Birds & Fun at Butler Park Austin” will be “Austin Hike & Bike Trail” and “Birds Boaters & Bridges of Barton Springs.” A new gallery will be created for each once more than one image for that series has been uploaded.
Unlike Birds 2 this image is during sunrise vs at sunset. As before, I spotted a bird on the corner of one of three extensions off the sidewalk over a small manmade lake. Only the second time I’d seen one of these white beauties resting along there. The development and rejuvenation of the park is happily progressing better than I’d expected. This is a real enchancement to the quaility of life in way-too-busy Austin :)
As per my pattern, the four images in Birds 2 are each individually digitally hand-enhanced to highlight each composition’s strenghts and reasons I wanted to present it (smiles).
Since the series is expected to last quite a few weeks or months, I’ll occasionally also post images from Paris and Vermont, plus florals and butterflies, and hopefully a text-image combination as well.
This new Austin series will enable me to explore and present a variety of aspects of single specific locations. Though we don’t get much snow, ever, here in Central Texas, the shifts in light, slants of the sun, and time of day, create interestng variances.
Let me know if I can help with any of your imaging needs for your home, friends, family, or work locations, including licensing.
Thank you so much for stopping by (smiles).

WOW, this is an awesome photograph, beautiful energy and color
Felipe Adan Lerma replied:
Nancy, I so appreciate that! I lucked out the little guy was patient enough for me to realize if I shifted I could catch the sunrise colors through the water - it was a chilly morning! :)

Thanks so much, Pamela - yes, that's the sun's light rising and lighting up the water! I was very fortunate :)

He certainly loves being in the spotlight Felipe, lovely capture.
Felipe Adan Lerma replied:
I have begun to notice that about some of the birds in the park, Brian, lol! :) Or as long as I don't get past their "don't get any closer" zone :) Thanks, Brian!

Robert VanDerWal
Great shot! Just wish the photo had more resolution and less noise.
Felipe Adan Lerma replied:
I know, met too, Robert - this is a macro detail (max print size 7x10 inches) from a 45x60 original. The noise-reduction filter works well but just didn't appeal to me as much as presented. But very glad you brought it up, it's fascinating how imagery work etc. Thanks so much, Robert :)
