Painted in 2006, I’d had this square format painting stored away in a climate control unit and recently unpacked during a recent move. I’ll be showing it at Jerry’s Artarama’s U.S. Veteran’s show Sept & October.
It’s 24x24, oil on canvas, and depicts a rare fall-is autumn day on Barton Springs in Austin 😊

Thank you so much, Nancy! I think it looked better after a decade in climate control storage than when I 1st painted it ‘round 2006. I thought at 1st it was cause I’d missed seeing it, but I really think now it was the effect of time on the thick paint. It settled and blended as it cured. Texture’s still there, but just muted enough to create the look I’d originally wanted, lol! 😊

Wonderful light and paint , I can FEEL the glimmering and movement looking at this, now doubt the original is even more impressive Felipe, F/L
