The crescent moon (two days later creating a total eclipse of the sun) and the morning star (Venus I believe) were pleasant surprises this particular morning's jaunt over to one of Austin's many city parks.

The sky was already waking and the street and sidewalk lamps were still on. With the building lights, Venus and sliver of moon, and an early cup of coffee at home beforehand, it was a wonderful way to prep for breakfast (smiles).
