Our first visit to Stowe Vermont since November 2012 has yielded several wonderful surprises, including this image from the deck outside the dining room at Timberholm Inn. We were there six days, and this chance look only appeared our last morning before check out. The thicker darker clouds seems to mimic the roll of ridge peeking up from the valley fog. It seemed to me, choosing which picture to feature, the cut-out of shrubs, dark against the unstoppable sunrise, were like a gathering, celebrating the rising light. Having a hot cup of coffee in hand didn't hurt either (smiles). I agree, Linda, it does have a wonderful sense of peace; it's a blessing being lucky enough to capture a piece of ever-changing nature, which is, I think, capturing a reminder of a piece of ourselves (smiles). Thank you so much, Linda!
