Related to both my images already available on Fine Art America (Break Of Light Malletts Bay Vt & First Frost Of Fall Malletts Bay Vt ) this series expands on the first frosty morning mid September in Vermont.
I’d felt myself continually going back to view these images, one of my last mornings in Vermont before returning back to Texas, and realized many of them were worthy of being organized and also offered here at Fine Art America. They may even be tempting for folks wanting a series of related sunrise or boating images. Either way I hope you enjoy them as much as I did seeing this amazing day rise that morning,
The view here, unlike the pictures in this series, focussed on the portion of the bay where most of the boats are anchored, is looking eastward, away from the anhored boats, across the wider waters toward the mountains.
Following is my description for the two images listed above: I first visited Malletts Bay with my wife and our children in the early 80s, and since 2011 have usually stopped by to eat at one of several cafe restaurants nearby. About two weeks ago (mid Sep 2016), after discovering a small park aptly named Bayside Park, I returned at sunrise at the years first returning cool morning and caught a series of 40 degree images I really liked. Being able to see my breath (before returning to 100 degree heat in Texas) and holding a hot cup of coffee in my hands were the was the perfect icing to these images (smiles).

Beautiful! You must have been training those birds for years to get them in exactly the right places at the right time. :) Gorgeous colors- a soothing and satisfying panorama.
Felipe Adan Lerma replied:
Awww, thank you so much, Sarah! Let's so the birds were "almost" exactly at the right places at the right time :) The left side bird was visible half way over the water and half way into the mountains. It needed a little digital "push" to a better vantage point and I needed that large cup of coffee that morning waiting for whatever nature would be providing me that morning (smiles).
