Description
My wife and I visited Stowe and Mt. Mansfield and the mountain road to Smuggler's Notch a few years ago and caught this wonderful fall foliage image. Impressionistic, the scene is also reminiscent of Corot's pre-impressionism style. Real life, unbellished, can sometimes look and feel like fine art. In both, in this work, there's a mingling of soft and rough textures, flowing masses and straight lines. A natural abstract.

What a coincidence, and JOY for me: this is where we honeymooned, day one, from Toronto to Smuggler's Notch, 1961 ! And a gorgeous Photo, Felipe, and I am so happy to remember THAT time in my life.......thank you for this beautiful capture, f.v..........VIVA
