Description
One of a series of images I was very fortunate to take the one winter I've spent in Burlington, Vemont (for others in that series please see my Horizon Lines Gallery). The view is from a low stone wall in Battery Park my wife says she would walk, her hand snug in her father's hand as he held her steady. Battery Park is also the site of war time action during the War of 1812 with England and a memorial cannon is located directly behind my viewpoint. The jut of land below and out on to Lake Champlain is part of Waterfront Park. This is a wonderful park to visit any time of year, even winter (smiles).

My sincere thanks to my buyer from Chevy Chase, MD.! 😊 I’ve only spent one winter in Vermont (my wife’s home state) and I grabbed as many non-Texas-like scenes as possible! ❤️

I do too! Even if (esp for a Texas guy like me) it was crisp as chipped ice :) Thanks, Linda (smiles).
