While my first triptych, “Austin Hike And Bike Trail - Train Trestle 1 Sunset Triptych Panorama” is three separate but nearby-location images during the same sunset, this is the same spot at three nearby points in time.

The triptych’s title - “The Arrival” - I worked out from a variety of ideas with my wife Sheila. I personally feel a sense of hope as the thick puffy clouds arrive south from the coast to Central Texas, softening the winter landscape. Yet, there’s also a question of alertness - is there a Gulf storm approaching? or gentle rain? or simply nuance and variation? Gifts from nature or our eyes and lives (smiles). Either way, the title leaves room for individual interpretation :)

Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triptych) defines a triptych as, “A photographic triptych is a common style used in modern commercial artwork. The photographs are usually arranged with a plain border between them. The work may consist of separate images that are variants on a theme, or may be one larger image split into three.”
